Our staff and residents recently went to view the Mary Poppins musical in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre and it was just astounding, this was a wonderful night out for everyone. The music and dancing were absolutely fantastic and the backdrop, costumes, dancers and singing along with the scene changes were jaw dropping.
Our favourite moments were too many to mention but the well-loved Step In Time musical number, the statues coming to life on stage and best of all Mary Poppins herself flying over the audience was breath-taking.
We followed this show with dinner at the Clayton and everyone agreed that it had been a brilliant night out. Good music, good food and good company, what more do you need for a great night out?
